How Would You Answer This ?
Question:

Hiya Everyone
I am training to be a Reiki Master now. It's a long in depth course (2hrs pw x 36 weeks). One of the questions my master asked me was.
What if someone comes to you who is Reiki 2 and says, they still don't believe their Reiki works and questions their abilities constantly. What would you say to them?
I managed to give my answer, which he was okay with, but I would love to hear how others would answer this question. Am sure many of the masters here have being asked the same question in their time.

Ohhhh nice answer Dez. ;)
Well I basically said, how do you expect others to believe in you, if you can't believe in yourself, but then went on to add, that I would encourage the person to try and get as much feedback from her clients as she could, this would boost her confidence hopefully. I did say something else too, but for the life of me, I can't recall what it was.
How would others answer?

Answers:

That is a very important point, becaue some Reiki healers never feel anything (energy in their hands ect.) although they get amazing results...

I've had this question with a student who suffered from schizophrenic tendencies and depression. She always had problems sensing the energy, although feedback confirmed that the flow is there. Telling her she was denying herself wouldn't have helped much in the circumstances, so I got her to give me a mini treatment, tuned into the energy to find out how she was blocking it. I guided her through sensing what was going on, asking her to describe what she felt and saw. We worked out where the block was and I gave her affirmations and exercises to work on it. Last time I checked, she was still having some problems but now has the tools to work on it and is happier as a result.
Okay, it's not a simple answer for but it was a practical solution for one person, just in case you come across that in your course! :D

Great answer Dez!
I would also have said 'believe in yourself' and recommended they take the essence Larch - for confidence.

I think I would say to detach from the outcome. Feedback from the clients is very important as it's not what WE feel so much as what the client feels, after all it is for them! Take away the 'fear' of how good am I and concentrate on the client and trust the feedback.
