Question:
[sm=wave.gif] Hello all. Ive had several reiki treatments from my friend and subsequently really got interested in it. Ive done so much reading up on the subject and went to meet a master a few days ago. He really wasnt for me though. I felt very uncomfortable in his presence and even more so after he told me he used to be into dark arts and now does a whole list of things concentrating more on the psycic side of things.
I know reiki can only do good and that when I find the right teacher for me I will know. I have so many questions but hope to learn more from this forum :-)
As a christian I will also be using God to help me channel my energy. I look forward to taking my level 1, if only I could find someone remotely local to me :-(

As Bodhi says, if you can give us an indication of the area where you live we might be able to suggest some name s of Reiki Master/Teachers for you to investigate.
However you could trty the UK Reiki Federation site at www.reikifed.co.uk which has a listing of Reiki Practitioners (not all of whom are Masters) or you could contact The Reiki Association (who will charge you for the list) for a copy of their golden pages which lists some (but not all) Reiki Masters www.reikiassociation.org.uk
