Crystals and Dreams
Question:

Hi
I was giving myself crystal healing the other night in bed with 5 crystals laying on me. I fell asleep, so when I woke up in the middle of the night, i thought, better put the crystals somewhere safe before I lost them. So I got them all and put them under my pillow (I could not be bothered to get out of bed) to keep them safe.
That night I had the most nutty dreams and the most vivid dreams and so many of them. It was madness.
Do you think that this had something to do with all the crystals under my pillow and all the different types of energy conflicting?
I slept with No crystals under my pillow last night, and I had a better nights sleep.

Jo Girl, you don't say what crystals you put under the pillow. If quartz, these will give you very vivid dreams - in fact, their energy can be so powerful that they will keep you awake. I would not recommend putting them all inder your pillow in one go. Try 1 at a time, and keep the others well away from your bed, unless they have relaxing powers - eg rose quartz, amethyst or snow flake obsidian.

Hi Gilliebean,
Interesting that you say some crystals can even keep you awake... I've recently started sleeping with a smoky quartz under my pillow to relieve lower back pain and last Tuesday found myself still wide awake at 2.00am. I tried to relax and did some meditation excercises with absolutely no luck. Then I felt for my crystal to find the point was pointing directly at me!!! I turned it around so the point was facing the wall behind my bed and fell asleep almost immediately!!! (Last time I looked at the clock was 2:30am).
I also have raw amethyst next to my bed but with the points facing away - I find this stops horrendous nightmares...
Of course both these crystals have been programmed for the jobs they do [sm=jump1.gif]

Great - you seem to know what you are doing. As your forum name is Selenite - have you tried using that - holding it before you go to sleep - great for chronic insomnia :D:D

You don't really have to programme crystals, just ask them! They know better than us what they are supposed to be doing! ;)

I try and sleep with a crystal under the pillow most nights, lol! At the moment it's a lovely quartz cluster, with points everywhere but it doesn't keep me awake, or a moonstone - which is fantastic for mad dreams!! :D

I find the Crystal selenite is also very good for heachaches:D and well as meditation aid.
