Ok i will start ....... BASIL....... ocimum basilicum
Question:

This is one of my most favourite oils if i am feeling down in the dumps, i use this oil mostlty as an anti depressant. especially when combined with anxiety.........if i am ever studying i burn this oil constantly as i find that if you need focus basil is your man...or rather woman!! I also find that if low spirits are due to hormone changes...especially menopausal then Basil works wonders(especially when combined with clary sage and geranium) ...........you are getting that aroma are you not?!!!
mainly alcohols this oil is truly uplifting ....anyone else got fab uses for?:)

I've used it for clients who are feeling a bit queasy or hungover as it can help with nausea - apparently it's an appetite stimulant too, but I wouldn't know about that, I'm never off my food :D (but I might know a bit about hangovers!)

Kate.........how have you found it works for aches and pains??i always reach for something else rather than Basil......i wouuld be interested to know your results!:)
