Can any one tell me how many and what kind of questions are asked in Itec reflexology practical exam please?
oh i was lucky... i was right next to where the examiner was sitting at the start and where she sat to finish so i got copped twice!!!
ok, so she got me whilst i was examing the foot and asked me about things i could tell from the foot. luckily it was my friend (yeah yeah someone i didnt know!), who had rosette verruccas, which i covered and said she was going to a chiropodist andit could be stress related... bunions too.
then at the end she asked if my findings during the treatment were borne out with what i had thought.
she was very nice and i was also a model for someone taking the exam at a later date... she was asked the names of the endocrine glands... she did struggle a bit but the woman came back after 10 mins for her to collect her thoughts. she also asked about what the feet were saying on examination.

Hi! As Rosie says, they can ask anything really. Anything that you have learned during the course.
They can ask about any complaint, system of the body, why you are working a particular area, contraindications, after care advice, treatment plans, case studies you have had, pretty much anything.
Probably a few too many 'anything's' there! But hope that helps!:D
oooh and another thing... dont break contact with your client, if you can help it. IF you have to stop touching the feet, excuse yourself to the client and cover the foot with a towel.
lol we did the practical in the summer... baking hot and we had been told to cover our clients up! hmmm i think we were allowed to ask the client if they were comfortable not being covered... the room was like a sauna!!
