Demonstrations of Ear Candling at Fairs
Question:

Hello,
I've been wondering about this for a while.
I know at fairs/shows/events that you can have taster sessions of treatments, but how would you go about doing a taster session for ear candling?
Just one ear - which ear, both ears,
whole treatment, half a treatment?

I have often thought about this, but there is no way round it other than giving a full treatment.
At fairs I always do tasters of other treatments, but take my leaflets about ear candling with, plus a pair of candles to show people.
At the clinic where I used to work, we did have an open day and I gave a demonstration of the treatment at a pre-arranged time. I used a volunteer and had a large group of people watching and talked the treatment through, so I wasn't really able to charge for this.

*nod* Agree totally, you cannot do just one ear as you may upset the bodys balance.. literally! It's the same with reflexology, you would never do one foot for a taster, but you might just do a foot massage or walk the zones.. another problem with that is that you can't get away with doing a short consultation, like you would with ihm or reflex. I would feel the need to do the full treatment, full consultation, just to be sure.. this means your treatments would be quite pricey - but doesn't mean you wont have a lot of success at the show, cause it's so unusual people seem to always queue.

Hmmm, as I thought.
Thanks for the feedback.
I suppose the best way to do it is a demonstration at a fair.
Shame we don't have many/any? fairs up here.

Don't any of your local schools have ladies' indulgence evenings? Seem to be all the rage around here.
