Dreamed of Crows last night , people were dressed as crows interesting eh.

Just before christmas, after picking my son up from school i notice Crow on a lamp post doing his funny dance, i watch him and then as i enter my home i saw him fly to the roof across from me, and i decide to call him, by making a physical crow sound, and guess what? He came right to my fence and just look and bowed his head and then flew off. He understood me. A while back now i remember i was getting ready to go to my circle night and loads of crows just turn up and were everywhere around my house. Being in the town we rearly get alot of Crows, but i got it all on video. All sitting on my neibour rooftops.

I have had crow medicine in my life for a while and I find that that the crow comes to me at times when it is important to speak my truth, often it is when a friend or relative is trying to convince themselves of something that is not true, eg trying to create a false/safe reality when in order to move forward they need to confront the truth. This is my interpretation of crow medicine. When I first started to open up to shamanism again I was welcomed by a dancing crow at Filey Cliffs, the bird was hovering but flying upwards and downward on the wind without moving left or right and back or forth - just up and down. It was awesome to see, it was no more than 20ft in front of me, dancing and gliding with enormous wings. Awesome birds and I love them for the gift of truth they bring.
If you think back to the film "Dances with Wolves" when Kevin Costner goes back to the Fort to retrieve his diary, he is beaten by the blue coats now occupying the Fort. They shoot his horse, Costner lying on the ground, beaten and bloody turns to look back at his dead companion and the crows are already pecking at the horses body. They are telling Dances with Wolves to speak his truth, when they question him and beat him he reverts back to speaking Sioux, the Indian in his heart speaking his truth, he is lo longer one of these Blue coats, a destroyer of a way of life, he is now a man of the Earth and feels he must protect his new family from them.
So perhaps there is a situation in your life right now Angel Light that requires you to be strong and speak your truth to someone ? Crow medicine often comes to us at times when we would really rather not have a confrontation :D

are crows the same as ravens????? (showing how thick I can be here), I done a med the other day and was surrounded by animals, there was Moose, Mouse, Snake, Raven, My wolf, oak and birch and then my new guide Quanah came into my aura and merged with me! It was a truely magnificant experiance and have looked up what they all mean, I am most excited to be working with moose and snake and raven as they really resonate with me at the moment!

I have looked up both magpie and raven and they are but there are differences, I have a magpie as a guide anyway so comfortable with that, raven seems to go deeper into the ways and psychic connection, also with moose and snake as well I have a very challanging and wonderful experiance and learning phase ahead of me lol!
It has started as I am getting psychic insights into people and my cat is now talking to me, which I only noticxed fully last night as she was laying on me moaning when I had to move! lol

yes there are some differances, i often see crow and magpie around my house, sitting on my roof or flying from the tree out the back and over my garden to my roof .. sometimes magpie sits on my fence andseems to look into my living room and directly at me.as for psychic connections mine seem to have shut down[&:] so has my spiritual connection .. its like the school has shut for summer and all the majick so to speak has stayed at the school. but you know what they say.....just as you think you've got it.. spirit ups the anti and makes it harder..

Thanks Lightwinds, I am definately seeing Raven in my life at the moment and I know Magpie has been around for yonks so I can also relate to that as well.

He was a stong native leader and never gave up on his people
He was the last Commache Chief, he never lost a battle to the white man. He was never captured by the army, but decided to surrender and lead his tribe into white man culture, only when he saw there was no alternative.

Yes I have been working with Quanah ever since he came to me, I knew he was my new guide when you mentioned his name on another thread, he is very powerful and when he merged with me I have been left with a sense of strength, knowledge and also leadership that I didn't have before.
Also his story really struck a cord with me as I believe that I may have been his mother as I am aware that in a past life I was a white women in amungst a tribe and that I was accepted as one of them but that it was not a happy ending.
I am seeing more ravens now as well, so I know that raven is with me at the moment, snake and Moose are also with me but in the background for the moment I am being told, one step at a time.
