Hi guys,
I am qualified holistic therapist, and I am really intersted in doing waxing course, but just waxing, does any one knows is it worth my money and my time to go on of these 1 day courses that do waxing, and give you a certificate, and does any one know if i can get insurance on it as well, please honest answers.

Waxing is one of the most popular and profitable Beauty Treatments so it is well worth learning. I do however feel that you need more than just one days training to learn the technique and gain sufficient confidence to practice professionally.
There is a real chance of bruising someone if you dont do it right especially on the bikini and underarm areas and personally I dont feel that a few hours tuition gives you enough knowledge to deal with any type of hair growth which is presented to you.

Thank you for your advice , i think i'm going to look into college which maybe doing just waxing courses, for longer than a day, if there is any. i dont think i can handle another 2 years at college.

try capital beauty which do one day waxing courses for warm waxing and then another day for advanced. They are supposed to be good courses and you can get insurance with the certificates
just do a search for capitalbeauty

I am a sugaring practitioner, and find it more effective and economical than waxing, using an all natural product. There are one-day courses available. PM me if you would like to know more x

Many private colleges run decent length courses for waxing so you can do it as a stand-alone module. Please don't do a one day course, it is inadequate for preparing you for waxing and you might not get insurance and if you do, you might not be covered if you make a mistake that a competent and qualified person would not have made.
