Hello All,
I have been reading through lots of these postings and it seems that Aloe Vera is a great soother for Stomach/Bowel area. I really want to know if anyone knows of a good product on the market. I would like one that is 100% pure if possible or not diluted.

Nutrigold to one which is not only pure but organic, it is a concentrated version so you dont need to have so much.......they will charge you full postage and packing.

I am an agent for foreverliving products - the website is foreverliving.co.uk and their aloe vera juice is 100% and organic. All their products are very good, although they can be a bit pricey.

I think you will find that Holland and Barratt and Bean freaks both sell 100% pure aloe vera.
I can highly recommend it, and not just for stomach complaints but it's great for the skin too.

I have a client who is looking for aloe vera juice with no additives. Even Forever Living has Citric Acid (I think) which she doesn't want. If she buys a plant, can she make the juice herself?

It is very difficult to extract pure aloe juice from the plant. Unless it is done correctly, you will get a "sap" from inside the leaf which is a laxative and may cause more problems.[:'(]
Proof Magazine, dated March 2002 did a survey on aloe vera juice in the marketplace and found Forever Living Products Aloe Vera Gel to be the best you can buy. It also states that the best you can hope for is around 98% aloe content. Copies of their findings area available if anyone wants one, send me an email and I will forward one to you.:)

I have aloe vera plants and when you split open the leaf you reveal the gel. Very useful for rashes and burns but surely it is exactly the same way as FLP's produce it. I have one of their videos and it shows them slitting them open. The taste would be foul though..........mind you saying that even when it is adulterated with cranberries and peaches it is still foul. My friend and I took it for months and did not notice any benefits whatsoever. My cheque book certainly took a battering!!!
Did I once read somewhere that the leaves have to be more than five years old before you can drink the juice from them? The gel from the younger leaves is bitter aloes (I think).
