Question:
I recently sent healing to a friend and she returned the healing at exactly the time i stopped.I was aware i had stopped sending healing but remained in a very meditative state untill she had finished her healing on me.She is also a reiki healer-can anyone advise if this is normal to have such a perfect connection and the deep state that i felt.Any advise or similar experiences would be of use.

Define normal.
Of course it's normal, everything around us is normal. It's all a universal energy exchange.
Does it feel like a permanent connection? Soul twins perhaps? (This is where Gussie may step in.... she knows more about this sort of thing)
Did you feel anything more than just the healing? Could you feel each others emotions and thoughts?
Just interested to find out. :)

No i couldnt get emotions or thoughts but just a very connected meditative state,which i have found reiki 2 seems to give.

I can't comment on the link between you both, and can't say whether you are twin souls, meeting your twin soul is a very rare thing indeed and when it happens, it happens with a boom and you just know there's something very odd about the connection you share.
I am not sure what your belief systems are, some believe that strong links are formed when you are initiated, I feel a totally different energy with my Usui Master to anyone else, when she is around I feel that my energies are really boosted.
Some may say this is a soul connection if some kind - there are many, there are twins, near twins, twin flames, soul groups, all sorts of things.. there are also people that you really connect with and never know why. It may be that there is a much stronger link between you and your friend than many people and because you are attuned you are more open to one anothers energies.
On a more fundamental note.. you were sharing a reiki experience, the feelings you will experience with one person will be so unique to a treatment from anyone else, some people have incredible energy and the more you are exposed to energies and work with them, the more profound even the more subtle energies will feel.
Enjoy the link, enjoy the energies, if you give the link a chance to grow.. and indeed you may find such amazing connections with others in time, the reasons will become clear. I would say share more energy and see how things develop, reiki is pretty darned wonderful sometimes.
