Question:
What crystals would you recommend for confidence and anxiety?
I have dealt with many issues in the past concerning these 2 negative aspects of my Self and would like to keep being the happy person I am now , even though my old tendancies want to come back now and again...

Well the first crystal that popped into my head was Citrine
I always feel that the crystal that is right for you is the one that shouts the loudest whenever you are near it, there are many crystals that do one thing or another, but that does not mean it is the right crystal for you, so if you're in a crystal shop and you feel drawn to a particular crystal(s) ~ then thats the one for you

The first crystal that came to mind when I read your posting was Sunstone. Sunstone is a great stone for lifting you up and lightening burdens, it clears the chakras and stimulates self-healing. It is readily available and can be worn or gridded around the body.
I will say, even though I get the strong feeling that I am about to try and teach my Grandmother how to suck eggs, that if these emotions reoccur then there is a deeper dis-ease that needs resolving.

I would just like to comment on the sunstone...you say it is readily available...I think that is something that at this moment of time I shall have to disagree on, I have managed to find someone that can get hold of sunstone for me...but it is incredably expensive at the moment.
I have noticed that some 'dealers' are saying that sunstone is aka goldstone...and selling it at sunstone, this is not the case they are two very different crystals with very different energies.
May I wish you much luck on your venuture to perhaps one day teaching with the SVA, it was a path I considered ... then decided it was not for me.

Just to comment upon stormdeva's suggestion of using citrine. A few months ago when I did my Reiki 1, I was going through a (lack of) self-confidence crisis. My Reiki Master's spirit guides told her to tell me to work with citrine on my solar plexus chakra. I have to say that I was a bit sceptical but decided that I had nothing to lose. Every night when doing my self-healing, I would have a piece of citrine on my solar plexus and it really did help. I hope that it works as well for you too. Let us know how you get on :)

I was at a warehouse today but didn't check out Sunstone - should have read the Forum before I went. Its a shame that there are some individuals who will try and dupe people but I guess thats their path this time around.
I only paid about £4 retail for a tumbled piece about six months ago but like you say some crystals get expensive for a while due to rarity. Not sure whether the miners stop digging for a while or what!
