Question:
Hi all,
I would like to learn Reiki with a view to becoming a practitioner in the future. But first I must find a teacher. I live in Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK. Can anyone suggest a good teacher?

Good luck with your reiki path, now you have made the decision the right master will be found. Since I took up the reiki path 6 years ago I have never looked back. To be able to work with this wonderful energy is truly amazing!

Reiki is something I have been interested in for a while. Just wondered - is it something you guys had had experience of before learning it? I would love to learn it but I do not feel 'spiritual' enough to be able to do so...
I don't know if you know what I mean, but I have had a great interest in the spiritual side of life for many years, and an interest in complementary wellbeing over the past year. The thing is... I can't seem to get past the wanted to be interested in something and reading up on it in books etc, and being able to *feel* the energy and the spiritual side that i believe is out there. It feels like my 'mind' is holding me back or something..
I do not know if anyone knows what I am talking about! It makes sense to me though :0)

I haven't tried reiki, and have only had the one treatment on Sunday. If you look under Spiritual and Psychic stuff under 'Request for healing' you'll see what the results were.
I too get trapped in the reading it in books cycle. But I do always feel an energy in my hands and want to follow this up and help others.
