Le Weekend
Question:

Le Weekend
My weekends are being kind of ruined by filming at the moment, but since I'm on location for the next two days thought I'd start this now.
Tomorrow night I'm going to Levantine (thanks Ellie and everyone else) for dinner with Ibiza boy and intend to stuff myself silly on meze so something not too tight I think - maybe original sixties floral print tunic dress with grey opaques and brown elevators.
Friday I am likely to be filming from dusk to dawn so I have zero plans, but I'd love to get back in time for yoga, manipedi and drunken fake tan application time!!!
Saturday is a traditional east end trawl with Lizzie and LJ which I am stupidly excited about. Think we're going to catch up over bottles of wine and more meze at Shish then hit the usual suspects. I am thinking of wearing either my red and grey large leopard print bell sleeve tunic dress with black over the knee socks and grey elevators or gold v neck mini mini sweater dress over black leggings with black ankle boots and my long gold and black chain necklace with huge gold canaries on it!!! Tres 80s, tres Lizzie I think!
Sunday besties are coming over with boyfriends to mine for a roast. I'm doing starters and pubs (pavlovas yum) and my mate's boyfriend who's a chef is doing the roast. Will wear whichever outfit I don't wear on Sat with low heel vintage boots to dress it down.
So what you all up to and what are you wearing???
Mimi x

No plans apart from Sunday night when I am going to watch Primal Scream and then attend the aftershow party where they are dj-ing. I can't wait to meet Bobby. I LOVE him!
Not sure what I will wear, the usual probably (mini dress/tunic, daft tights, ankle boots and my new snake necklace that I want to wear at all times!)
Mimi, have you washed your New Look ruffle dress yet? I dunked mine in cool water with some washing powder last night then rinsed it and hung it up to dry and it has turned in a tube. I hope that ironing will restore its shape but I'm doubtful. I am absolutely gutted, that was such a handy little dress :boohoo:

yay for the weekend...
Blonde, that will be so much fun! Bobby is a proper rocknroll legend!
Tomorrow, i am possibly going to see a friend's band (if I can be bothered, bad me). Or possibly staying in for lazy evening of grey's anatomy. If I do venture out, will be wearing nowt dressy, maybe boyfriend jeans, wedges and a tee, skinny-fit black bomber, big scarf!
Friday, no concrete plans, but may go and see the new Bond film with OH and a couple of friends. Would like to go to a little japanese restaurant on the way, too. Probs wear a loose-ish shift dress with opaques and ballet flats.
Saturday, a bunch of us are going to a Modular club night (shame you're not going Mimi!), to see some bands like New Young Pony Club and do some drunken dancing. I was planning to buy a French Connection baggy print dress to wear over leggings but I tried it on today and it was just TOO baggy, so I need a rethink! And need to pick out some not-too-high shoes as well. hmmm.
Sunday - the usual... roast dinner, relaxing, maybe heading to brick lane.

I have the day off for my cousin's wedding tomorrow. However it doesn't start til the afternoon so I'm hoping to *finally* go on the Tate Modern slides in the morning, if my little bro is feeling better! Then a quick home leg wax, followed by nipping to the reception venue (ie the restaurant under my flat) to assemble the wedding cake and dress it with loads and loads of white roses (This is my job for the day, please don't let me mess it up!). If I don't go on the slides then I'll be in the gym for a couple of hours making up for not going today!
For the wedding, I reaaaaallly want to wear my sparkley Mius (the bride and bridesmaids are all in sparkley shoes, so I'll fit) and probably then opaques and my icy blue silk ruffle NL dress if that goes, otherwise I'm going to have to muster some other dress from my wardobe, tricky as most of my dresses are black, gulp!
I am apparently sitting at the "singles" table (great, lovely not!!!!) but I also have the task of videoing the shebang, so will get to walk around lots too and mingle. Apparently there is a guy I'm being fixed up ish with, so am traumatised as who needs a fix up under the scrutiny of all your relatives?
However, Grey's Anatomy is a must for me, luckily I live upstairs and should be able to disappear for an hour... or the rest of the evening!
Friday it's back to work baaaah and then family stuff in the evening. Will probably slob out in jeans and uggs and my V&R for H&M boys grey sweatshirt.
Saturday I'm hosting lunch for a couple of my father's clients and their wives, another *eeeep*. I shall wear my new H&M white floaty shirt with black satiny tie that I hunted down this evening, and skinnies and heels. No evening plans as yet, but I'll probably be in the gym at some point... and who knows, I *may* have a date after the wedding?
Sunday it's lunch at my posh aunt's house (she's a Lady) so jeans aren't really allowed baaaaaah. I'm hoping that my ASOS order of the Boom tunic and a black/white print minidress will arrive tomorrow and I'll wear one of these with opaques and boots for sunday lunch.

Well hopefully its the cinema tonight with the girls from work, so probably jeans, ankle boots, snuggly coat with a hood (its tipping it down with rain here) a draped green tunic under my deep u neck tunic top.
Then tomorrow (fri) is Wagamama's Japanese restaurant once again with work but taking mr A. I have bought a very voluminous drapey sleeveless top in a deep red for this, which I will wear with a shrug, wideleg trousers and some gold coloured heels. though I am being tempeted by a black batwing top...then saturday is going to be one of mr A's friends bithdays and the ladies in the party have to wear sparkly shoes. so sparkly shoes, and not really sure what else...sunday is work followed by the cinema and consoling a friend who has just split with her man.
