Question:
How long should a long skirt be?
I'm currently pregnant and at the in between stage where maternity is too big but my normal clothes are getting too tight. I've been to george and matalan to get some cheap but bigger clothes and all I can find in trousers seem to be polyester which irritates my skin. But I have seen some nice long skirts which are lined so won't irritate but I never know what length a long skirt should be. I plan to wear the skirts with kitten heel knee high boots so I can avoid tights. Any help so I don't commit a fashion faux pas?
i dont think you can go too wrong tbh. mine are normally almost to the ground with/without heels.
Knee length would be fine.
As long as possible imo. Ankle or floor length, any shorter and you runt he risk of looking old fashioned. Mendi has a point though, would you not consider knee length with thick tights to keep warm. I'd hate you to trip up while pregnant :wasfield:
Either knee length or ankle length. Like TB said anything imbetween looks a tad dated. When I was pregnant I used to wear really long over the knee socks with knee length skirts because my stomach was super sensitive, and I couldn't wear tights.
