Question:
Shoes
Does anyone actually wear Clarks shoes? I have been having terrible problems with my feet due to wearing pointed or cheap shoes. I have two corns, blisters, and it looks like a bunion is forming!
I'm off to scholl to see their podiatrist on friday but I was wondering what good shoe shops make comfortable and fashionable shoes? Or is this just not done?
I have a pair of black flats that I wear for work - I boguht them from Clarks years ago (although, they don't look like my Mum would wear them...) and have lasted forever as well as being uber comfy! They're one of my 'slip them on when I can't be arsed' pairs of shoes, along with my Uggs. If you can find a good pair then go for it! They actually had some rather nice wedges in there the other day.
I don't mind clarks shoes, I once bought some plain black pointy ankle boots to wear for interviews/placements and they are the comfiest heels/pointies I have ever worn! and as bibs said you can actually find some decent stuff in there sometimes! :o
Clarks have come a long way in recent years and a friend bought a beautiful pair of sandles in there recently - she said they are really comfortable :)
I don't buy from Clarkes but I'm often surprised when I walk by them and see their window display. Yeah they are not bang on up to date fashionable (actually sometimes their winter boots are) but their shoes are not half bad at all and they look super comfy.
Jones Bootmaker also make some comfy looking fashionable shoes but I'd imagine they'd be more expensive than Clarkes.
