Question:
Barcelona, clothes & bag help please :-)
Hello everyone,
Haven't posted for a while as I've been busy working and trying to earn some money, I haven't bought any new clothes since Early Feb now :D
Well as a treat to myself I am off to Barcelona for 4 days next week :yay: can't wait. Thing is I want to just take hand luggage, so need a capsule wardrobe that I can mix and match to suit the weather as well as day and evening things weather at the moment: http://www.gm.tv/index.cfm?fiveDayCityID=42&showCities=YES&articleI D=2932&showWorldRegion=2&showTab=1.
I was thinking of taking:
Black skinnies
Boyfriend jeans
Dark denim mini & leggings
a selction of day & eve tops
However I feel things are going to be a bit plain, so any other suggestions or outfit suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Also what should I wear/take shoes wise?? Iws thinking black ballet pumps, black converse and possibly my flat tan boots to wear with skinnies (but think I may be too warm) :cmdunno:
Finally has anyone seen any nice across the body bags big enough to take an SLR style camera (professional style camera) that I could use every day??
Barcelona is gorgeous, I'm really jealous of you going :cool:
The one thing I'd say about getting a bag for going though is that if you are going to Las Ramblas (the main street bit) then get a really secure bag because there are loads of pickpockets on there

Yer I can't wait, a friend of mine has asked me to take a couple of pics for her too. I have heard about Las Ramblas being bad for pick pockets before, so def need a bag with a zip etc to keep things safe.
I did see one in Oasis a few months back that would be perfect !! TYPICAL! it was a teal blue and had room for the camera and lens as well as phone money etc Don't want to use my usual camera bag as it draws too much attention to the equipment inside!
EDT: When did you go Louise? What was the weather like!
We went last May, it was sunny and hot whilst we were there.
The cathedral was all scaffolded while we were there too and we weren't able to go inside because I didn't have anything on my shoulders which was a big no so bear that in mind when you go there too. Its such a pretty place though :heartpop:
I'm not really helping with the clothes side of things though, will have a think about the bag :o
just remember if you're not checking your bag in everything that could conceivably be considered a liquid has to fit into that pathetic little plastic bag they give you at the airport :rolleyes: it's made it so much harder! gahh...
