How to get a decent fitting bra?
Question:

How to get a decent fitting bra?
When you buy bras is it best to go for the size you're measured at or try and few and see what fits best in the shop?
My bras sometimes don't feel like they fit me too well, sometimes feel too small, sometimes too big. I'm a bit paranoid about wearing the right sized bra but they never seem to fit me properly :cmdunno:

ive been told im between sizes but both the sizes i try (36d and 38c  ) dont fit right, so i just tend to grab something off the rack and try at home.
i have the 'overspill' problem and its all me fat that does it, so i dont think it matters what size i wear nothings gonna magically rid me of the fat!

Thanks for replying, you have my sympathies with the not fitting right problem!

I got a bra the other day from Primark which I thought fit well but when I got it home and wore it a bit it was very uncomfortable. I have binned my other bras and I am down to a couple from Ann Summers which i'm not certain are 100% right.
Not sure whether to go by my 'measurement' or just grab one off the shelf that seems comfy as neither of those seem to be working :cmdunno:

plus theres the added problem that different shops and different styles mean they wont always fit the same *sigh*. i have had a couple of sports bras from m&s that were very good and i just bought the size i think i am, they ended up looking quite good.
but yeah in general i just try on - oh and i put a top over it so i can see what it looks like. when ive bought cheap ones before they have an ugly seam you can see through smooth tops so trying on under a top eliminates that little problem ;)

Go get measured in a decent department store-House of Fraser are very good, or Bravissimo or Rigby and Peller. DON'T get measured in M&S, they're dreadful and say almost everyone I know that's been measured there is a 36C when none of them are:rolleyes:
I always try bras on before I buy them, and you can go up and down as much as a cup size in a menstral period.
