O/T I'm soooo angry!!!
  Sorry for the following rant but I'm sooooo angry!!! :mad:
I placed an order with Marks & Spencer late Thursday night & paid extra to have it delivered today as the things I'd bought were Mother's Day gifts & gift wrap. I received an email yesterday confirming my order, saying it would be delivered on 17th March & everything had been dispatched.
Well, I've waited for it all day & it's not turned up :( It said in the email that delivery could be up until 8pm during busy periods so I waited a bit longer but nothing :confused:
I've just completed a 'contact us' form on their website, complaining about it as I don't think it's right that I paid extra for everything to be delivered today & I haven't got my stuff. If it was anything else I wouldn't be that bothered but it's just because it was Mother's Day gifts & now I have nothing to give my Mum other than the DVD photo album I've made her :boohoo:
Do you think there's still time for it to turn up or is there no hope? :( I wouldn't even mind if it came tomorrow morning as at least that way I'd still have something to give my Mum but it doesn't say on their website whether they deliver on Sundays - I very much doubt it though :rolleyes:

:eek: i'd be really angry too. I would call them on monday if i was you and make sure they give you back the extra money you paid.

Did they give you a tracking number Lisa? If they did any you know who they deliver with, if you ring them up and ask to speak with their complaints team. I've done this with dhl a few times and they will do loads so you dont complain any higher.

Hi Lisa,
This happened to me last Mother's Day with M&S. I'd paid extra for delivery on the Saturday and it hadn't turned up.
In the end (and maybe because I overdid the sentimentality) they let me have my order for free. As it happens the order had been left with a neighbour and no card put through my door, still didn't get hold of it until monday though.
Really hope yours turns up soon :(

I phoned them in the end as their customer service line is open until 11pm & when I explained the problem, all the man said was, "Your order will be with you in 2-3 days & the extra money you paid for delivery has been refunded" & nothing else. He didn't even apologise! :head: So I said, "Well I'm sorry but you haven't even explained why my order hasn't arrived or apologised for the inconvenience". I explained that I can't get out atm due to illness so online shopping is my only option & that I now haven't got anything to give my Mum for Mother's Day (I didn't mention the photo thing ;)) so in the end he said I would receive a letter of apology & some vouchers :D
When I asked him again why my order hadn't arrived he said, "Well, they have to be sent from one depot to another you see..." so I said, "I thought that was normal?" ;) He didn't reply to that :lol:
Anyway, even though I'm upset that my Mum won't have the presents I ordered to open tomorrow, she's very pleased that she'll be getting some vouchers :D
