M&S Vogue dress - what do you think?
1 Attachment(s) Has anyone else bought one of the red silk dresses from the M&S range featured in Vogue last month? I got mine this morning and, while Mr Happy Cat likes it, I'm not sure if it's too big around the shoulders - what do you think?

I think it is a little too big for you too, its a beautiful dress, do they do a smaller size?
Maybe it's just the way you're standing, but it doesn't look particularly flattering on your top half. Maybe try the next size down, as it looks like a very pretty dress.
Either way, if you're conscious about the way it sits on your shoulders, that feeling is probably going to stick regardless of anyone else's reassurances, which makes it less likely that you'll wear it and feel good when you do. IMHO ;)

Aw, thank you :hucks: I seem to have trouble with M&S's sizing around the shoulders, I've had the same problem with some of their long-sleeved T-shirts - surely my shoulders aren't not THAT narrow?!?
On the plus side, it stops my waist looking disproportionally wide, despite having a tie waist (which I normally hate), and the colour's nice ... sigh ...
ETA: it's their smallest size, an 8 :(
