Do you make an effort everyday???

It seems Im bored today so I thought I'd get a bit of a discussion going.
Obviously as we are all hanging around a fashion forum we must have a certain interest......but in reality do you dress to impress everyday??
I'll get the ball rolling.
I would always wear make up and have my hair straightened and nails in decent shape.
I don't wear anything too outragous to work, but have nice acessories and even wear dresses which can get strange looks ( but i don't care ).
I wear funky boots and skirts....and am not in a jumper and jeans every single day like some people ( I don't care what they wear but they seem to like commenting on me :mad: )
I consider it fun to plan outfits and pick out my clothes each nite for the next day as I can't think straight in the mornings :o
I take a picture of my outfit each day and save them to photbucket website .....really anal I know, but it's soo handy to flick through them and see what I have been constantly wearing .

I think I have a bit of a complex about how I look (several people have told me this) but I cant help it.
I plan what I am wearing meticulously and fuss over my hair, make up and nails quite a bit. I have my hair blow dried at the hairdressers at least once a week (sometimes twice :eek: ), paint my nails and do a home manicure every Friday night without fail and am constantly on the look out for the perfect skin look (which has cost me a small fortune over the years). I think I owe it to my job to look as smart as I can for work every day and I probably spend most money on work clothes if I'm honest. I'm not vain at all - after all this work I actually like nothing better than to fade into the crowd - I cant stand attention of any kind! If ever anyone dares to compliment me I cant help but either throw it back at them or assume they are being sarcastic and actually think I look awful! Not good really but I cant help it! :o

Hiya, I'm bored too.
I don't make an effort for work (the industry is filthy dirty, including my office), I usually wear jeans & a jumper. All the jumpers are really old because I loathe to spend money on something that will only get seen by contracters & warehouse men. When it starts getting warmer I'll be throwing them all out & replacing them. I might even buy a puff sleeved black shirt!!!!!!!! I probably save a hell of a lot of money on work clothes which is an upside even though I sometimes wish I could wear a skirt or a dress.
However I always make an effort even if I'm just popping to a mates for my tea or to go shopping & this is probably due to my dire working wardrobe. Whereas my mates love to dress down come the weekend, I love to dress up.
I spend most weekends at my boy's place so I've already planned all my outfits for this weekend (& packed my bag already!) & keep all previous outfits in a notebook. See, I'm anal too, it rocks! :D
ETA- I wash my hair everyday (dont feel clean otherwise) & paint my toenails every week & I rarely go out without make-up.
i make an effort everyday, somedays less, but i wash and blowdry my hair every morning and would never go out without make up on. i don't really plan my outfits but i try to coordinate. starting my new job soon so will need to make a HUGE effort everyday in order to look perfect :rolleyes:
