Bridesmaid dresses
Hi, Please can anyone help?
Im cheif bridesmaid for my friend in December and Im really struggling finding something to wear. The bride lives overseas so is leaving me to choose the dress (along with her sister).
Her sister and I have very different taste and are having a few problems choosing. I want to wear a neutral colour (the bride is in ivory, the groom chocolate brown) so I was thinking of gold, brown, mink, beige? Her sister has seen a couple of dresses which are bright red & bright purple.
Ive looked at monsoon, coast, jim hejlm, debenhams etc and not been able to find anything suitable. Can anyone think of any other shops which sell bridesmaid dresses or any ideas on colours?

No help shop wise but I think you should get the bride to make a decision over the colour and go from there! It will be her that is disappointed if you go for a colour she doesnt like/want and I wouldnt want to be responsible for that if I got my own way!
Style will be easier once you know what colours you are looking at

BHS, Asda and M&S all have wedding ranges, I'm not sure if the bridesmaids dresses are on the M&S website yet though :)

Yes, it may be a good idea to do this as the colour of the dresses may clash with her choice of flowers etc :cmdunno:
My b'maid dresses clashed with the b'maids' bouquets on purpose though :D
