Question:
Ideas needed for how to wear this dress/top/tunic thing please?

Have ordered this from Dotty P's, and am expecting it to drop through my door at any minute. It's described as a tunic - I don't know whether it's meant to be a top or dress, but previous experience of similar Dotty P's 'tunics' has told me that while it will *just about* cover my bum, I'll need to wear it with leggings or jeans also, to avoid it being indecent.
The problem is, I can't think of an outfit for it :confused: I thought of indigo straight-leg jeans, but would the outfit be a bit dark and dull? My black leggings won't look right; I also have brown leggings but will an all-brown outfit look daft? Coloured opaque tights are an option I suppose, but I want to wear it for work - and I'm a barmaid in a working-mens type pub, so I can just imagine how much they will all take the mickey out of me if I come in with green legs or something :lol:
I think because most of my jeans/bottoms are dark, I'm confused over how to wear a darker top/dress! I don't want to return it, because I love it - so any ideas or suggestions gratefully recieved :D

im 5ft 11 and i tried it on last week, i could have worn it as a dress easily with tights or leggings :wave:
I saw that dress in the shop this weekend, I think it looked long enough to wear as a dress rather than a top.
Thanks girls :D That's goot news - I'm only 5'4 or 5'5, so I think I should definitely get away with it as a dress in that case :yay: I might wear it with bare legs for a night out like that, if it looks okay.
I could still do with some ideas on how to dress it down for work though - I don't want to be baring my legs to all the old men :lol: What do you think of it with either indigo jeans or brown leggings?
I think that with the indigo jeans sounds good. Or pick up one of the colours in it for the tights? there is grey yellow and cream in the flowers right? So maybe grey or cream opaques/wool tights?
