Question:
So much for the nice eco-friendly packaging on Topshop online!
When Topshop re-vamped their website their stuff was sent out in lovely boxes which you could turn inside out and make lovely black and white polka dot storage boxes which I used to house shoes.
Then they send them out in paper type postage bags which was good as I could put them in the recycling bin.
Well that has all gone very quickly and they seem to be back to cramming everything into a grey plastic bag, which cannot be reused or recycled. WHat a shame.
I love the polka-dot boxes too - they're so pretty and useful! I've got about 10 now though :o
I got one of the polka-dot boxes 2 days ago though, so they definitely haven't stopped doing them. I think they just package it differently according to what you've ordered (e,g how heavy/bulky the item is), or maybe it's something to do with how much you've spent? They should send them out with every order though, I agree, not just some - it's no good for the environment!
Thats the weird thing, I have made tiny orders which have come in the boxes and paper bag. This was quite a big order (lots of basic vests ready for summer), I was just suprised it didn't come in the paper bag as I'm sure I read something on their site about them being eco-friendly. Maybe they just ran out :p
I got one of the boxes just this morning - it's so cute! It was a fairly big order - I ordered a holdall which took up a lot of room. I'd expect them to just use the plastic bags when you've just ordered a necklace or a cami etc - something small
This sort of thing makes me
