Ebay help needed Please
Help, I need some advice.
I've sold something on ebay and the purchaser is in Germany and wants to pay by transferring funds to my bank account, but I don't want to give my account details. I've asked for her to Paypal me, but I don't understand her reply.....it's in German and when I tried to translate it on-line, it made no sense!
So what should I do now? The only thing I can think of is for her to send £ at her own risk......help!

Did you say i your listing that they have to pay via PayPal.
I would respond saying you do not understand german and that they must pay via PayPal as specified in the listing.
Sending cash isn't a good idea and definitely don't give them your bank details.
If you still experience problems I would report them to ebay as they may be dodgy!

Paypal is one of the options as well as cheque and postal orders.
Maybe check with your bank if you can accept a german cheque - not usre you can though. Defo think postal orders are a no go.

I think it is quite common in Germany to make transfers to other people's accounts. They do it all the time. But as you say, probably not something you want to do! Maybe your bank will accept a EURO cheque? You would have to convert the amount though and your bank may charge you? I don't know what else to suggest!
