Shopping at Angel?
Question:

Shopping at Angel?
I'm going to be near Angel Tube station for work reasons next week and was wondering what the shopping was like? (it will be the day after pay day:heyhey: ) also how about eating? (I don't fancy making a packed luch at silly o'clock in the morning...any recommendations?

Answers:

Lots of lil' cafes and deli's where you can have your lunch.
Shopping? Oasis and Accessorize are the only high street stores that come to mind. Lots of independant boutiques heading up from Islington too.

Well depends on budget for food. There are sandwich places like pret, or there's hamburger union or pizza express, browns or wagamama or a giraffe on essex road. Angel is the classic british homogenous high street experience!
In terms of clothes, high street you have oasis, fc uk, karen millen, next, gap, benetton, then now an all saints on essex road and further up upper street there is diverse (one of my favourite shops in london), and sefton and a whistles. There are a few little boutiques on cross street too, though not checked them out yet. You can certainly kill some time around angel.
Does any of that help?

This cafe is fantastic and it's kind of behind the tube station: http://www.candidarts.com/sections/g...andid_cafe.htm
