Question:
Le Weekend
It's almost the weekend (and almost my holiday) and despite the fact that work is more manic than ever, I am starting to let myself get excited!
Tomorrow night I'm having dinner with mon pere then going to the opening of a new club in West London with some friends. Think it will be a very boujis / sloaney crowd which is not really my thing, but is nice to do something different and not have an expensive taxi ride home at the end of the night!
As it's not my usual scene I'm just going to be safe and wear my red and grey abstract leopard print silk mini tunic with black opaques and grey elevators with my hair all backcombed and feeline 60s eye makeup.
Friday evening I am going to try and get to yoga (work permitting) then I am going to drink wine, prepare food for sunday, eat chocolate and watch Ugly Betty.
Saturday I have a silly busy day. I've got to get up super early for 5 hours of pre Morocco beauty treatments at Bloww and a much needed haircut. Having rasal, cleopatra exfoliation, honey body wrap, massage, facial, pedicure and a brazilian. The it's the meet (promise I'm not going to all that effort just to see you girls :lol: ). Bit worried I'll get hammered on my first glass of vino after all the detoxifying so keep an eye on me! Post meet I'm going over to Lizzie's to get ready then we're off to see Simian Mobile Disco at Herbal followed by some after party (although worried I shall be seriously drunken by this point). No idea what I'm wearing to the meet, but will be lugging my over night stuff with me so no super high heels!
Saturday night I am wearing cut off denim hotpants, black opaques, red elevators, white A Line Chlosesque blouse with huge buttons, lots of gold chains and black beads.
Sunday I shall be shlepping back from Lizzie's (suspect I shall be treating myself and my sore head to a cab) then Ex Ibiza boy's coming over for Moroccan shepherd's pie (I think it's technically Berber Pie :lol: ) Shipwrecked and getting excited about our holiday.
Then it's only two days at work 'til I fly to Maroc :yay: .

I’m having an overload of one of my besties this weekend !!
Tonight I am going to paint my nails, read Grazia, eat chocolate macaroons with my mum, and basically chill out. Will wear my comfiest, scruffiest tracky bums and hoody!
Tomorrow night – Said bestie is coming to my house after work to highlight/cut my hair for me. It is in desperate need of doing so i’m looking forward to feeling like me again, and not a frump.
Friday – I have an appointment with my bank manager at 4.30pm!
Later in the evening, I will pick the same friend up and we’re going for some food and then to the cinema. Not sure what to watch yet – any recs ?! Not sure what I’ll wear either, probably whatever I have on for work. Must try and wear something that looks slightly respectable to fool the bank man!
Saturday – I intend to have a productive day ! I am going to go to a gym class in the morning, then I am going to nip to NL and then try and force myself to put lots onto ebay ( I have cleared out my wardrobes and drawers and have 8 bin liners full !! 4 have gone to charity, 2 to a friends daughter and 2 are left to put onto ebay!)
Saturday night I am going out with the same friend and lots of old friends are coming up to go out which I am really looking forward to as I haven’t seen some of them for a long time!
Not sure what to wear yet. Seeing as I didn’t go out last weekend, I might wear what was my Sat outfit – denim high waist hotpants, black tights, maybe either cream chiffon ballon sleeve shirt with cream vest under or just oversized white tee, brown weave belt, grey elevators, black vintage snakeskin and patent box clutch.
Or I might go for a dress if I’m having a fat day!
Sunday will be spent recovering in front of T4 with my friend, and then either out to lunch with friends or a huge Sunday roast courtesy of Mama SP !
You’ll be lucky if I get out of my pj’s all day !

i am trying to not go out this week as I was out all last weekend and am out all this weekend, unfortunately 4 glasses of wine managed to spill themselves down my throat last night at after works drinks with some colleagues so best laid plans and all that....
assuming I don't go out the rest of the week I have nothing until Saturday when I have shopping in the morning, Meet in the afternoon and an early night Saturday night (or more likely post-Meet drinks). I'm attempting to give up booze for Lent so this will be my first test:cmdunno: . I haven't decided what to wear yet and am toying with my high-waisted skinnies, black turtleneck, cropped faux fur leopard jacket and either miu miu platform boots or blue-gold d-havz strapped on the outside of the jeans. Neither pair of shoes are feasible for walking though and I think it might be a bit much for the Meet venue - not least because both shoes make me so tall that mr elliecat tells me I look like a tranny. or I might work an outfit around my flat purple suede duo knee-high boots as they are so comfy and scrummy.:confused:
sunday morning I am going to the Beauty Brunch at Harvey Nicks with a friend and then we are going out for lunch and mocktails and more shopping. I am going as classic chelsea lady that lunches so will be a vision in camel and cream and expensive bag and shades.:lol:
Sunday night I am going to see The Killers !!!! I will probably wear black leggings, black ballet flats, black blondie mini-dress over fuschia bell-sleeve C&C t so I can jump around and dance.

Friday day, pay day :D am off over to b'ham for some retail therapy, meet mr sb from work and have our usual curry & wine night. Might give my old high waisted jeans a whirl with fine black poloneck with short puff sleeves some kind of belt and my grass green round toe courts with gold buckle and some chains to jazz the top up a bit.
Sat off dog racing in the evening have a table in the restaurant so can dress up a bit, would love to get hold of the zara puffball dress but failing that my black short shorts, black puff sleeve shirt tucked in, fuschia opaques and snakeskin platforms.
Sunday, meeting up with my 2 friends and their boys so we can get our hair chopped - really need a re style so must look for some inspration before going. Then i think were all of to the local for sunday dinner. Long baggy white vest, forest green cardi, petrol slouchy shorts, grey ribbed woolly tights and tan vintage boots.
Have a fab meet everyone that is going - wish i was :) and good weekends everyone else.
