ebay question
  Hi guys,
I have some fashion things to put on ebay and I was going to do them this evening. However, I'm home early so was thinking of doing them now. Do you think I'll get fewer bids if my auction ends in the afternoon rather than in the evening or do you think most people bid from work?

I think it's better to end in the evenings myself as more people are home :)

Definitely evenings :) They did some sort of a study and proved that 9-10pm on a Sunday evening was the best time to end an auction, but I think any evenings are okay really (possibly with the exception of Fri/Sat as people are more likely to be out?).
You can do a 'scheduled start' when listing Ebay items - write out all your listing and photos etc now, and it'll go on at 9pm tonight or whatever you choose. It only costs something like 6p per item, which I think is definitely worth it if you're going to get more money for stuff :great:

Thanks you two...
Glitter Junkie, I did consider 'scheduled start' but guess what? I'm too tight! So I'm just gonna wait and do it all later (but I have written out the decsriptions - YAAAAWN, Sooo boring, I hate that bit! - already:) )

sorry to piggy back on this...
but instead of starting a new ebay thread - I have a question too - hope you don't mind.
You know when there's a "buy it now" for £XX ... if the end bid is less than the "buy it now" price is the item still sold (ie it's not like not meeting the reserve is it?)
