Question:
I'm allergic to scarves!!!
I know this sounds rediculous but I just can't wear scarves... at first I thought it was just the ones that contained wool, but I have since bought a couple without wool and these rub my neck raw too.
So I'm on the lookout for the softest scarf you can imagine... matching hat and gloves a bonus... Any ideas?:confused:
Perhaps you could try viscose? I have a pashmina-esque scarf from H&M made of viscose and it's very soft. I'm pretty sure that you can get them from Primark, too. I'm not sure about exactly matching hats and gloves, but if you get one in a basic colour, e.g. black or camel, then you shouldn't have too much trouble getting a hat and gloves in the same colour.
Cashmere? Uniqlo stores in London have them in a variety of colours for £25 and I think they do cashmere gloves too. Not sure about hats though.
How about velvet ones? Try HoF, John Lewis and Tie Rack.
M&S do lovely fluffy scarves - I think the softest are what they called "soft loft" knit. Normally scarves irritate me but those are fine and they have matching gloves etc.
