Question:
Any reccs for the theatre? OT
My sister and I would like to take my mum to London for her 50th birthday and thought she'd quite enjoy the theatre.
Have any of you got any reccomemdations? I wanted to take her to the Cirque du Soleil but it appears to have just finished.
Thanks
xx
Avenue Q is excellent but it might be suitable for your mother - its quite risque.
Billy Elliot is excellent if you can get tickets.
Wicked is very good, but I second Avenue Q - But only if your mums got a good sense of humour and isnt too PC!
"We Will Rock you" is very very good all of the songs from Queen. Also "Wicked" is good... A new show to the West end (After years on Broadway) but is already a hit.
Hope this helps.
Wicked is very good, if you like musicals. As is Chicago.
Muscicals aside, My Mum and Dad are obsessed with The Woman in black, and have been to see it 6 times now. I've seen it once and thought it was good :)
