Banana Republic opening on Regent Street (in the old Dickins & Jones building)
Question:

Banana Republic opening on Regent Street (in the old Dickins & Jones building)
Obviously not for a while but what does everyone think of this? I read it on Vogue.com in their vox pops and all the comments were a bit "not that bothered". I feel the same, isn't Banana Republic just a more expensive, smarter version of Gap? Couldn't they put something more exciting in there?

Answers:

Yep, i was SO excited shopping in NYC then i went into Banana Republic and it really wasn't anything that special.

Hmm, I think they're ok for fashion/work basics, they seem to have got a bit dull in recent years though. And it's all quite 'safe'.

Kind of exciting! I love Banana way more than Gap (seems to fit me better) though it is more expensive. I wonder how much more it will be. Their sale items are always great. Hmmm, will it be different here though I wonder...in the US I just always wait to get stuff there because in a matter of weeks it goes on sale. Ok, I'm rambling now... :)

Answers:

thats a big store-I think its a mistake to open that big tbh-isnt there an Abercrombie and Fitch store opening,or has it already opened-now I love their clothes!!Or Anthropologie.
