Question:
Slim fit or skinny jeans with uggs?
Hi folks,
My uggs are now winging their way to me from Oz :)
If I want to tuck my jeans in them do I need slim fit or skinny jeans?
I'm only ever bought bootcut before (Desiel are my favs at the mo) and baggy slouchy kinda jeans from Oneils and other surf brands so this is new all new to me!
Also..one other Q...
If I were to get long high heeled boots to wear over jeans which would be best? Do you think you have to be super skinny to get away with this look (I'm a 10/12 at 5ft7 but curvy-ish not a straight up and down legged minx!). Its this look a bit old hat now anyway?

No idea about Uggs, but I personally find that if I want to tuck my jeans into calf length boots that it works best with skinnies.
As for the knee high boots - straight legs can work if they're reasonably slim cut and the boots are quite roomy. And you definitely don't need to be super-skinny to wear skinnies and knee boots; it's quite flattering :D And yes, it might be a bit passe (but even if it is, who cares!), but as far as I'm concerned it's something of a winter classic - I do it every winter because it's (a) warm and (b) keeps my jeans out of puddles....

agree with G_K - need to be fairly slim to fit in - although i suppose as the boots bag a bit you might be able to get bootcut in
but when i tried with bootcut i didnt like the way the jeans were baggy above the boots iygwim
i wear skinnies but they arent very skinny on me with all my uggs/knee highs
Skinny jeans are definitely the only way to go for both uggs and knee high boots.
I wear MissSixty J Lots or else Pepe skinny jeans and they are great. If you dont get skinny jeans you will get bagging around the knees which just looks awful.
You sound very similar to me in size and height and I reckon I look great with uggs and skinnies or else knee high boots!!!:lol:
Thanks girls thats fab! I am now the proud owner of a pair of lovely long boots from River Island and I tried them on with skinny jeans in a shop and you are right they do look great and surprisingly flattering.
Skinny jeans on order via ebay too for these and uggs.
