Question:
Matching an outfit to shoes and bag
Hi girls
I don't post a lot around here but just wanted to pick your brains, if that's okay?
I'm leaving my job and the directors have organised for us to go for dinner in a posh London restaurant in a couple of weeks' time.
I'm trying to find an outfit to go with these shoes and bag
I think the simplest thing would be a little black dress but was wondering if anyone had any other ideas...?
Bit of background on me if it makes any difference - 5'2", size 14(ish), large chest!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Sx
yes you definatly want something quite plain and simple - to let the shoes and the bag do the talking.
i wouldnt do too much cleavage either, or anything really short, as it might make you look a bit 'tarty' what with the bag and shoes being so colourful. think you need something quite sophisticated (sp?) to even things out, but thats just my humble opinion....
Yeah, I envisage something like this, or any other simple but on-trend LBD. Maybe with a chunky necklace or bangle in one of the bag/shoe colours to liven it up a bit.
Enjoy your night out! :great:
Thanks :)
Now it's just finding a black outfit that ticks all the boxes! (not tarty, not too short, doesn't cling in the wrong places...... oh I'll be shopping all day, all weekend, all week....... :p )
