Chanel Authentication
Hey,
I just bought a vintage Chanel 2.55 on eBay which I have always wanted but always resisted buying as I believe 99% of bags on eBay to be fake. Anyway this one seemed totally genuine in the listing and now I have it I love it and really think it is genuine, but I would really want to get it proven for peace of mind as I paid too much for it to turn out to be a fake! Anyways just wondering if anyone has ever taken a bag to Chanel for them to check it, I live in Glasgow so would have to post it but just worried what their attitude to this would be?
Any advice greatly appreciated,

chanel like most designer shops are very reluctant to do authentications. they did do one for my friends once but it's not common at all. you could post pictures in the chanel authentication thread on the purse forum though, they do know their stuff.
2.55 or classic flap? Definitely post on Purse Forums the girls there will be able to tell you.
