Ebay - should I accept a cheque?
Hi all, I am selling an item on ebay for not very much and someone has asked me if I will accept a cheque rather than paypal. I am sure I remember someone having a problem with cheques in the past. Should I accept a cheque or not?

I would say yes, but make sure the cheque has cleared your bank before sending the thing out.
Ive accepted a cheque before and had no problems but make sure its cleared before you send the item out

I like cheque payment - saves PayPal fees. If it's under £15 I don't bother to wait for it to clear - that's about how much it cost to cancel a cheque and banks rarely bounce anything that small.
