How do you decide
Question:

How do you decide
If a clothing can be given to charity or thrown in the bin?

Im clearing up my wardrobe and coming across items Ive forgotten Ive had.
In the past its always been if I hadn't worn it in an year and if its in a condition that it can be worn by me then Id put in the charity pile.

But what I consider as wearable may not be by the others..now Im confused on how to decide which ones to be thrown away and which ones to be given to charity!! :cmdunno:

HELP.........

It has to be in good, wearable condition for a charity shop to sell it but I think most recycle anything they're given that isn't in a sellable condition so if in doubt pass it on and let them decide.

What Nat said. If you're just worried about whether people will buy stuff because you think it's dated, don't worry, the charity people will take it.
Obviously, if it's not in very good condition, probably bin it, but as Nat says, some recycle. Maybe check with the shop you want to take it to first?
I'm having real problems deciding what stuff of mine I should ebay and what to give to charity ATM so lots of sympathy from me!

If it's out of shape, heavily bobbled, holey, shrunk or faded it goes in the bin or for rags. Everything else i would say is charity shop worthy :)

By the way you know the clothing banks at supermarkets? Please tell me the clothes & shoes I've put in them go to 3rd world countries & aren't recycled for scrap. This has got me worried, I put some good stuff in there the other day
