Question:
Mulberry Purses.....
I bought the small zip lockd purse yesterday as a reat to myself....Has anyone out there got a Mulberry purse?
I looked at a few yesterday and was really dissapointed with the inside compartements etc hence I opted for this one because its got the best inside compartments imo ........
Do you think it'd be worth phoning up an outlet stoir and seeing what else I can get for my money? Or can you reccomend a good Mulberrty purse?
I bought a simple red leather purse in the Mulberry sale about 5 years ago and it's been fantastic and looks good as new. I hate purses with pockets so it was ideal for me, but the right purse is a very personal thing! If you do get the right one at least you know it last and last.
I've got one - I got it in olive as the oak ones never go on sale and this one was half price. I am very pleased with it as it is compact and fits in the front pocket of my Roxanne. I like the bigger ones but imo they are too big and also overpriced - they wanted £250 for the Emmy purse!

I was a little bit disappointed when looking at the Mulberry wallets, too. I like a big wallet with lots of compartments (like the long locked wallet or the Emmy) but those ones don't fit into the internal pockets of the Mulberry bags that I've got (Elgin & Joni) and, as these bags are open, I don't feel secure just having my wallet hanging around loose in the bag. The small wallets are really nice though, if you're happy with that size.
I agree it's a really personal thing as you use the same wallet day in day out for years (until it falls apart, in my case :lol:) hereas with a here, you change it as your mood dictates. So make sure you're happy with the one you bought. Phone the York outlet to see what they've got in stock, if you're not completely happy.
