Question:
Do you collect anything? (possibly o/t)
Not just bags or shoes but absolutely anything - snowglobes, owl figurines, stamps - and does it take up a lot of your money? Is it an obsession?
Some of the threads I've been reading today got me thinking about whether fashion takes up most of my cash I decided that it does, I have a lot of shoes but I wouldn't say I 'collected' them, and I have loads of vintage beads and jewellery but again, I wouldn't say it was a collection.
So I'm wondering if I should try and invest some of my money into some items that will form a collection. I don't know why, but in a way it seems more worthwhile, something I can learn about, be passionate about and be proud of owning.
Anyone else???
I collect stamps, coins, miniture perfumes, Snoopy memorabilia, pretty much everything really!
Most of my collection wouldn't really be valuable in terms of making a profit but I do it for the pleasure of seeing my collection build up.
It makes my day when I find something to add to it. :D

i like it neat neat neat which is near on impossible with 2 daughters and all the toys and mess that they bring with them :flounce:
i used to collect vogue but that was eons ago, like when i was 21 odd. i cant for the life of me remember where they are now.
No but Mr FP does - toys and sci fi/comic memoribilia. I have been drawn into it though - I keep buying Mr FP bits and bobs to add to his collection :o

I have a replica 1920's replica mannequin head and I would love to start a collection of them but cost wise this is something I could really only buy once or twice a year, I think vintage sewing/display stuff might be the way to go:think:
