Question:
Do you wear black with colour?
I just wondered if other people wear black with colour?
Reason being is Trinny & Susannah say this cheapens an outfit!

LOL @ Trinny and Susannah. I wear black with bright bold colours like the prime red, yellow and blue but not really anything else. Maybe a bold purple or green. I guess my outfits are cheap! lol
I personally feel comfy as black is flattering yet the bright colours give me a bit of pop.
how strange i never thought about black that way but i can see where they are coming from. I do wear black tops with jeans mostly layered with white/cream/grey.
but even then i don't particularly like wearing black because a) looks a bit boring and drab if its JUST black (unless we are taking about an LBD) b) it just doesn't seem to look that great with many other colours.
Their opinion is that black looks only ok with white, cream, grey those sorts of colours and not brights.
I think it all depends what you wear with black.
I wear black with grey/white/taupe/green - whatever really. I usually have a white shirt/vest showing underneath though, except with the taupe where it looks fine on its own.
