20s style flapper dress
Question:

20s style flapper dress
I'm going to a party tomorrow and would like to wear a 20s style dress if I can get my hold on one, preferably in black. Has anyone seen any in the shops at all? I'm typically late in getting organised...

You whould have to be quick off the mark to see if there are any in your size left, but Reiss had some beautiful flapper stlye dresses last (winter/xmas) season which have now been marked down for a while and sound suitable.
I bought the same black and white (althogh there are a couple of other color variations) flappper number which-girl-in-the-city featured looking gorgeous in a couple of weeks back: sorry can't remember the name of the thread, but she helpfully took pics, too... x

Yes the Reiss one is flapper style, you might be lucky and find one in the shops still. If not, bit bizarre but years ago I went as a Charleston girl to a fancy dress and my mum made me a flapper dress. Basically you need a plain tunic then you staple rows and rows of that stringy type stuf you get (sorry for crap description) all round the skirt bit IYKWIM?
