Ebay - Item not recieved
Hey Laydees,
Do any of you have experience of items not being received on ebay? I have not received items in the past, due to being lost in the post and have either been sent another item by the seller or just forgotten about it if it was something small.
I sold a pair of Baxters that didn't fit me a month ago for £30. I posted them 1st class then stupidly lost the receipt. So they've not arrived and I have filed a complaint at the Post Office but I have no idea how long this is going to take and the buyer keeps emailing me to ask if there's been any progress.
I have 100% positive feedback and don't really want to lose that. I am unsure whether to tell her to file an 'item not received' thingy in ebay, or if I should offer to refund her half the money. I don't want to refund her all the money because I don't have any and I did post them!
Any advice or experience? Cheers!

Did she pay you by paypal? If so, you are expected to send the item via trackable means, which is at the least recorded delivery. If you didn't send recorded, paypal will find in her favour and you will be expected to give a full refund.
