Question:
ebay jeans help
hello all.
my friend bought a pair of jeans off ebay and when she tried them on the button came off. now this is certainly not because they were too tight because she has another pair of the same jeans in the same size (just a different wash) and is a bit upset because she paid a fair amount of money for them. what should she do
should she complain to the seller?
or how can she get this fixed?
they were brand new pair of jeans with tags and everything attached, how could this happen!?
As long as you haven't ripped the button straight through the material the quickest (and easiest) thing to do is to nip to john lewis or equilivent they sell plain jeans buttons (the two part metal ones) they come with a guide and instructions.
you just need a hammer and bobs your uncle!
or complain to the seller and see what happens, but if you get a refund and have to send them back they might not have another pair (and you'll have to pay postage etc.)
Or, if you say they have all the tags on, is it a local shop? Might be worth seeing if you could get an exchange?
