Question:
Chewing gum help!
Hey! I need some help!
When i got in last night i realised that somehow somebody had gotton chewing gum on my brand new wool dress and on my new bra. I have no idea how it got there! I cant get it off :boohoo: i tried putting it in the freezer but its not really helped. Does anyone have any tips? I'm so annoyed at whoever did it because its new stuff and they must have literally put their hand down my dress for it to get there without me noticing
I just found this :
Put ice cubes in plastic bag place on garment where gum has stuck. Alternatively, harden the gum by putting the garment in the fridge or freezer. Remove as much of the gum as possible, then using liquid lighter fuel on a clean cloth (test effect on a hem first) rub over remaining gum. Wash as usual.
I copied it off the internet so dont know how reliable it will be :)
Yup, I've heard what Louise said as the foolproof reliable as well but I've never had to do it, maybe do a patch test to make sure it doesn't affect the colour
Thanks ladies, i'll try that tomorrow :)
