Dyeing black jeans

I've just bought a pair of black Pepe skinny jeans in the sales. They are a great shape on me but the only problem is that they arent quite black enough.
Do you think I could dye them to make them darker? Has anyone ever done this? And if so what did you use?

oh im glad i came across this thread! i want to dye some jeans too. theyre indigo blue and i want to dye them black. i just hope i dont spoil the detail on the pockets? :think:
