How do you wear your Tunic?
Question:

How do you wear your Tunic?
I want to get a tunic, Im a size 12 but my belly is not flat, its got a bit of a chocolate bump on it.
I dont want to wear a tunic and look like a frump, My friend the other week had a tunic on and to be honest it looked like a maternity top, she clearlly felt that herself as she kept fiddling with it all night... Dont want to do that myself, so was just wondering how you wear them?
Do you buy them in a size smaller? Wear it with a belt?

Answers:

I wear mine with leggings but my really, really short one I wear with jeans.
I'd suggest Bridget Jones style knickers if you're worried. :heyhey:
Have you got a tunic in mind?

Answers:

Not worried about my bum not being covered, would wear it with leggins aswell, just dont want it to make me look bigger than I am.
Hmmm, havent got one in mind really, Still trying to find one!
Probably something plain knowing me... Any suggestions welcome! Needs to be quite cheap aswell.
Something like this would be lovely - http://www.dorothyperkins.co.uk/cgi-...i?prodid=DJH15
But I think Id want it in more brighter colours, its quite a change from the plain clothes I normally wear aswell so maybe not as pattern mad, although it is gorgeous.

Tunics aren't super flattering to be honest. Not saying they look rubbish but they won't make you look the thinnest you ever have or anything like that
I also have a bit of a tummy issue so find tunics can be great :great: I wear mine with skinny jeans tucked into flat boots and i'll probably wear them with leggings when it warms up a bit. I find a long chain with a pendant on helps weight the front down and stop it from billowing out. :)
I've got an elasticated waist clasp belt that i'm going to wear just under the bust with some of my tunics too.

DP tunics are very flattering, they skim over the gruesome bits (they hid a multitude of naughty Xmas snacks over the festive period).
I really like the one you posted- I think Shiny has ordered one & if it's nice I might get one. You've got nothing to lose- bet you'd look great in it. ;)
I like the way you're going to be wearing yours too Cat, I wore a very thin elastic belt under the bust of one of my dresses during the summer I loved the look. & the use of a long pendant is a good idea.
