Question:
Jeans help
Hi does anyone know where i can get a decent pair of jeans that arent hipsters or butt tight. I tried 5 pairs of slouch jeans in river island today and all of them made my legs look large! So any advice would be apreciated
Slouch jeans will make your legs look large, they're not fitted around the leg!
I would suggest you look at different style of jeans, and Im going to reccomend river island again as it is where I get all my jeans.
Dorothy perkins.
I have about 10 pairs of combats from River Island which i love but i just can't be doing with their jeans.
even the most flared jeans are "hugging" my calves plus at close to 50 quid i want a pair that i'm going to live in.
i bought some from DP today, and i love them, they're stretch and they have some kind of sparkly stuff on the back pocket and on the leg. they fit really well and at 30 pounds i think that's resonable, they don't show my crack when i bend over either.
Another rec for Dorothy Perkins. They have a huge amount of stretch so should fit your shape nicely!
GAP - do a good selection, its really a question of going shopping and trying on loads of pairs in different styles. - i've been wearing Long and Lean's from gap since they were launched about 5 years ago or so - nice over butt, not clingly on calves
I personally can't bear stretch jeans and always go for 100% cotton (no lycra please) as i find they have two problems
1 - too tight stretch jeans can look a bit ming - emphasising huge calves or hips
2 - I always find they 'grow' as i wear them, so what is tight / fits perfectly straight out the wash, is far too big after an hour or so, and requires constantly yanking up (never a good look imho)
100% cotton ones stretch a little bit, but don't change size in the same way as stretch ones
