Question:
how to wash silk?
any tips on washing silk items to make them soft again?!
Hi,
I handwash mine at a low temperature in something like Woolite. I then drip dry them away from direct heat. They tend to go a bit hard when they have been exposed to dry heat e.g. a radiator. This seems to work for me, anyone else got any tips?
What sort of silk fabric are talking about? Is it knit, light woven, heavy woven, how to go about it will depend on what it is. It's always worth noting that silk should only ever be washed in non-bio powder/liquid.
