Question:
Cute Yellow Suit need accessories advice
Okay so I went out for the Next skirt suit at Bluewater as per my last post but got sidetracked into H&M and saw this cute yellow suit that I had to have...so I bought it straight away..
However I now realise I have nothing yellow in my closet to accessorize with. In the store they had it with a black top so i'm thinking black opaques, black patent almond toe platform heels, a thick black chunky bead choker then maybe big yellow button earrings? If I go for metal jewellry should I do silver or gold or just stick to black or yellow ? Not sure.Also like the idea of wearing a cute little beret with it - but yellow or black ? I don't want to look like bananawoman..
Also re: tops do I just wear a black vest underneath as a shirt (I really like this one from next) will just not work with the jacket collar will it ?

Oh that is very cute - I love it, it would make me smile everytime I wore that I think!
I'd be tempted to put it with a colour perhaps, or white or charcoal as opposed to black. Maybe brown? I'm not sure without knowing what kind of shade it is, but it looks creamy coloured in the pic which would go with pretty much anything!

Its actually quite a vibrant yellow rather than creamy .
Hm, not really that keen on black and yellow, especially if it's quite a vibrant yellow.
I'd put white or cream with it, probably with sea green, turquoise, silver or even hot pink, emerald green or red accessories with it - I have this picture of it a sharp white shirt with a red ribbon waist tie and red court shoes; a skinny red belt over the jacket would look good, I reckon. I don't usually like gold jewellery with yellow much - too much of a muchness! A sea or pistachio green fitted jumper or shirt would look great as well - other colours that I might be tempted to try would be brown (especially softer shades), certain shades of soft smoky lilacy purple, even certain warm shades of stronger purple, sky blue, light green, etc. I think navy (particularly patent shoes) would probably look very chic with it too.
Gorgeous suit though!! Might have to have a look for that myself; can I be cheeky and ask how much it was?
