Question:
Slighty O/T: returning shoes?
Hi fashion baggers, I thought this might be a good place to ask
I bought some boots from Dorothy Perkins about 2 1/2 months ago and the heel has just snapped off completely for no apparent reason :( I might still have the box but not the receipt. Would you think I'm within my rights to go and ask for an exchange or credit note after this long? If I'd had them ages I wouldn't be so bothered but it looks like a quality issue rather than normal wear and tear.
I'd definitely take them back chick, but without your receipt they will only give you store credit for the current selling value, so if they've gone down in the sale you'll lose out some of what you originally paid.
Is there any chance you paid by debit or credit card, and could take a copy of your statement in?
I think I paid cash, but I'd settle for an exchange for similar ones anyway or store credit. I suppose I might as well try returning them, nothing to lose!
