It's BIS-ter. The discounts in all the Mulberry stores can be up to 50% but on more popular styles and colours may only be 30%. Eg. Bayswaters were £346 reduced from £495 but the Bayswaters with the leather butterfly applique on were reduced by 50% I think (but I think they sold for more than £495 to start with).
The York factory shop had some unbelievable discounts on the first day of the sale - eg a Brown and Orange Ayler bucket bag at £178 reduced from £795!!! Also a pale pink woven Elgin from summer 05 or 06 for under £200 as well.
They also have bags made specially for the factory stores as there isn't enough stock for a constant supply. I asked about this and the quality, materials and workmanship are the same but they will produce a discontinued design especially for the factory stores. I got a Georgie bag for £195 which is an old design no longer available in the usual Mulberry outlets, but still produced for the factory stores. The bag is similar size and style to the Bayswater which retails at £495 so I got a good price. :)
Yah thats gud1 I have visited the York one and they had some really nice bags that I did not think would be in the usual outlets! wow an Ayler fir £178. I am so empted to take the Araline back (if I don't have tpo takle it back for other reasons) and get an Ayler..more leather for my money!

The Ayler was in the sale at 70% discount and they only had one so maybe call round all 3 factory stores to see if they still have it first? I was lucky to go to York (with parents..) on the first day of the sale and got there really early, around 10am so they had only been open an hour or so....
I did not think they'd do a sale!
