Question:
ebay question - advice on selling mulberry roxanne needed
not sure if im putting this in the right forum:o
i bought a mulberry roxanne off ebay a while ago but want to sell it cos its just too big for me. i only paid £180 for it, so obviously it cant be a genuine one, but it is a fantastic copy. the only thing that gives it away is that the flaps which hang over the side of the bag are covered in leather on both sides, rather than being suede. also i never kept the dust bag or care card which came with it.
im wanting to re-sell it,but not sure how to advertise it with it being a fake, and dont know how much to start bids at. its still pretty much like new, as ive hardly used it. (please bear with my ignorance on all this. ive never sold anything on ebay before).
thanks for any advice in advance. x
 that's a lot of money for a fake! you could do a search on ebay to get a jist of how much they're going for. sorry im not much help
ive had a look, but all the bags listed are going for much more than what i paid for mine, and im assuming thats because they are geniune, as it says in the description.
Hi.
Was it sold to you as a genuine?
Maybe you can write something along being purchased on Ebay and sold to you as a genuine Mulberry. That it's a gorgeous bag and you paid a large amount of money for it but that you personally doubt it's authenticy. Basically what you've told us.
I think most Ebayers know that they're probably buying fakes anyway but you wouldn't want to sell it as authentic and then later get in trouble.
:)
thanks glaze. thats what i will do then. wanted to say what youve told me to say but didnt know how to word it.:)
